Kantos waited at the door of his golden mansion. He brushed his brown hair out of his eyes, waiting.

Becoming impatient, are you, old friend? Nolla whispered in Kantos' mind.

"Nolla, it isn't my nature to become impatient." Kantos faced his mansion. Within the vast halls was a doorway that lead to Nolla's Realm. "But I feel as if something is happening."

Yes, I suspected you might. Nolla's mist began to shroud the mansion. But I have no knowledge of anything being awry. Is it something in time yet to come?

"Well Nolla," Kantos said, approaching the monsterous door to his home, "If i knew, you would. ALl there is here, is the sense of something amiss."

Mmm, I see. The mist collected and formed Nolla. Perhaps, you will know in time, as will I. So, will you accompany me on my journeys? It would be useful to have time on my side.

Kantos turned toward the being behind him. "I'm not sure, i think it's something about the Lament of the 13 Hour Lament."

Kantos heard the clutter of metal. He turned and saw the dagger and pan. "What exactly were you planning on cooking? We're in the center of Time, nothing is here."
